Jubilee World opened it's doors to an "Open House and Network Night" at the campus located in Walnut Park where local organizations, artists, teachers and community leaders could meet and greet. The new Jubilee leadership took charge in September 2017 paving the way for positive change and outreach. People had an opportunity to network with other non-profits in the arts field, community organizations and present how everyone can work in a collaborative effort to better the communities through outreach and needed programs.
The event was successful with over 40 in attendance from the surrounding neighborhoods and ended with a community dinner, fellowship and prayer for the community. Campus tours were given with a summary of the vision for the new Jubilee World leadership and how individuals can get involved to glorify God bettering the community.
Jubilee World and the local community development initiatives have collaborated providing after school activities and tutoring every week for the community. Jubilee plans to make an open house every month to network with the city and develop with community members. Pray for the ongoing strength and that the Lord will continue to open the doors for Jubilee HQ, new leadership and the St. Louis community.
Plans on the docket include mentorship programs, youth programs, music lessons, food pantry for the community, services and outreach.
New Executive Director Aaron Reppert explained, "The opportunities for the Walnut Park community with unity and this facility makes it possible to bring outreach and needed community services back to the hands of the residence. The benefits far outweigh the obstacles and challenging we may face with such a huge collaborative effort. After building outreach and music programs individually for youth centers in the San Francisco region over 16 years, I found it a duty to serve and organize this unified needed effort in St. Louis when asked and offered the job in September. It's the passion, love and integrity that pushes all of us each day." In only a 5 month period since taking the position, leaps and bounds have been made in a positive direction with the unity and help of St. Louis leaders", Aaron added.
